Hello!

Thanks for your interest in my work. I’m an artist with a passion for painting outdoors in the landscape. I am based in Cambridge, UK where I am particularly drawn to painting views of the river and green spaces of the city, through the changing seasons and at different times of the year. I also paint further afield in the Cambridgeshire Fens and East Anglian coastline.

I paint primarily in oils and usually complete a painting in one session, aiming to capture the fleeting light effect or atmosphere of the place that day.

I studied for a degree in Fine Art at Norwich School of Art, graduating in 2009. The Norfolk landscape and coastline are a great inspriation to me, and I try to get back there to paint whenever possible!

My work has been selected for exhibitions with The Royal Institute of Oil Painters and The Royal Society of British Artists at Mall Galleries in London, The Munnings Museum in Dedham, and has won prizes for painting at Plein Air Competition ‘Paint Out’ in Norfolk and Cambridge in 2018, 2019, and 2021.

I have been commissioned to paint the David Parr House, Clare College and St. John's College in Cambridge, as well as private commissions and my work has been purchased by collectors around the world.

I take part in Cambridge Open Studios each July, and have been part of the Management Team of the organisation since 2024.
